The Johnson family is busy to say the least. Both parents work. Their family rarely sits down to dinner together, and if they do, the TV is on, Kendra, the oldest daughter, is still at soccer practice, or Dave and Jill have to work late. Evenings and weekends are almost exclusively dedicated to the children’s sporting events, tournaments, and practice. Meanwhile, Spike, the family dog has started acting out and is, according to the vet, overweight. The parents want to slow down and cut a few things out of their lives, but they feel guilty for depriving their children any opportunity.
